Dear Kitten is one of the very few commercials that I like to watch. Funny instead of irritating or maddening like most commercials.

GC:  I LOVED the long version of "Dear Kitten"!

Thanks for posting that.  I keep forgetting it's time for the Stupid Bowl.

Patricia:  PURRY Birthday!

Comment by Grinning Cat yesterday

In honor of the annual pigskin ritual coming up, replete with stupid human tricks:

"Dear kitten, you've probably noticed these strange metal cylinders. It seems to be a device that the humans use to suck out their intelligence, kind of like the vacúum, but instead of sucking dirt, it sucks out judgment and common sense. Look! See?"

"Yes, sure, one time I tried it, by accident. And you know what? The next morning I woke up feeling terrible, wearing another cat's collar. I may or may not have been inside a sock. Don't ask. Because I don't remember."

There's more, in this cute cat food ad: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBrSvHPY1NQ

I have known 2 cats  in my entire life who knew that the harness and leash meant they were going to go outside, and couldn't wait to get ready.  Neither were mine.

I think you have to start training them when they are very, very young, or they will just go limp/lie down, like the one in that video.  I tried to get Lyle, one of my smarter cats, to accept a harness....complete failure.  *FLOP!*

So he had to learn to use a litter box, and live indoors because that was when we began having serious coyote problems, and I couldn't bear the thought of losing him.  .

Thanks for the laughs, Felaine... that cat looked like s/he was not having any of it!

I've seen an optical mouse have problems in a multi-cat household because the scroll wheel sucked up cat hair. The optical part was fine.

I have not laughed that long in quite some time, there were tears! Honestly I start laughing again everytime I visualize the video too! I can just hear the cat's thoughts, "shit, I thought I knew you!? What the hell is this!?? You can keep standing me up you clown but get this bloody thing off me!"

Haaaa Haaaa haaaaa!!!

Very funny how that cat fell.  It definitely got it's point across.
