Albany Georgia Atheists was established with the intent of building an accessible and inclusive community of atheists, agnostics, secular humanists, skeptics, and other freethinkers with the goals of removing the stigma that is commonly attached to religious non-belief and to promote the separation of church and state. Additionally, we recognize the importance and accept the responsibility of providing an environment that is open, accepting, and conducive to the intellectual and social growth of atheists and other non-believers and dedicate ourselves to the establishment of such an environment in the greater Albany area.
