I am now the Atheist Examiner for the Birmingham division of Examiner.com. I will be covering atheist/secular related news and events throughout the state.

I'll be posting my first article this weekend. Please be sure to check it out. I plan on bringing a perspective that isn't very common here, as well as covering events that get little coverage, or at least get little coverage that isn't colored by an evangelical slant. The article I submitted to get the job was about the recent debate in Birmingham, for example.

Blair, this will be an excellent venue for me to cover the Alabama Chapter of American Atheists and the various freethought groups. I'd be very interested in hearing from you on any news you might be aware of.
