In no particular order: Whiplash, Seek and Destroy, Fade to Black, Escape, Creeping Death, Master of Puppets, Leper Messiah, Damage Inc., ...And Justice for All, Eye of the Beholder, One, Dyers Eve, The Black Album from start to finish(It's just that amazing), and No Leaf Clover

The God That failed,lyrically is one of my all-time favorites.
"The healing hand held back by the deepened nail
Follow the god that failed..."
You just gotta love that! Of course,as a bassist,I think Cliff Burton's influence is profound as well as undeniable.I'll always remember the first time I heard "Anesthesia (Pulling Teeth)".Cliff was pure genius and a true original.
But really all Metallica songs on all their albums are great,right up until they started that "Load" and "Re-Load" crap.Don't get me wrong,I know they have good songs on their other albums after The Black Album was released.It just seems that was the pivotal point when they stopped making metal and started trying to be more pop orientated. In Lar's own words they weren't metal anymore,they were alternative rock.
