Hi TC/TeaRowz and others... I changed the site URL because Webs was driving me bonkers with ads (and I apologize for taking so long to say so here).

http://centralmaineatheists.blogspot.com for now at least...

OOPs Laura, I misspelled my username at Central Maine Atheist Alliance. It is "TeaRowz".

Hi Laura,

I live in Topsham, and I just joined Central Maine Atheist Alliance as "TeaRwoz". My membership is pending approval, and I hope to be able to participate soon!

Thank you for establishing a place for those of us even more isolated by our geological location! I can assure you that I will be referring others to your new site!

Just so you all know, there is an organization called http://secular.org that will try to herd cats as best as possible. Hit up their page, and see what there may be available for all of us.

And as a bonus, one of the executive directors is a Maineac by the name of Sean Faircloth.

Hi all! I'm in the middle of nowhere (the dead center of Maine) and so I've made a website called Central Maine Atheist Alliance in the hopes of meeting/gathering with other backwoods nonbelievers. Check out http://centralmaineatheists.webs.com if you're interested in joining up. Thanks and talk to you soon!

I sure do feel alone with my non-theist position here in Maine... :-(

I agree. It sure would encourage nontheists to leave their closets.

You're welcome. I wish there had been a group like this when I lived in Maine.
