Mostly a Firefly fan here, courtesy of a friend who loaned me the DVD set (which I consumed over a weekend!). I discovered a truly unique S/F setting, a wonderful ensemble of engaging and believable characters, and a quality of story line and plot development, mixed with just the right measure of quirkiness to make it all work like topsy!

[sigh] Would that Fox had known what they had back then....

I read the script for the pilot of Dollhouse and I thought it would be difficult to have a main character whose personality shifted so much. Viewers have to connect with the main character and do it quickly.
