What happened with them? Why did they have problems in India for that?

they are safe in Canada now, they had problems because till few months ago homosexuality use to be considered illegal. so they didn't have any support here.

I personally am not gay but I have gay and transexuals friends and I don't want anything bad happen to them. By extension, I don't want anything bad happen to anyone, that's the reason I asked you.

Isn't it dangerous to show your picture on this site? Not that is a bad picture (far from me this thought) ... Wouldn't you want to go back to Iran? I heard that it is illegal to be atheist in Iran.

it is illegal. and i will be executed if i get arrested for being atheist but there is hardly any Iranian in this site. and by the privacy setting no one can find it buy search engine.( any way i don't care about it. i have written and shown in most of the pages that I'm a member of it. i have never hidden it up to now even when is was in Iran ) i don't know if you are aware about Iran's condition and green movement right now. some how i feel that next time that i go back home I'll be in a free Iran.
you may think I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one :-)

I have another contact on my friend list who is from Iran. My ex-fiancee is from Iran and she even was there in June 12 with all that craziness. I have a few friends from there and I like Persian beauty.

I understand that you have to fight against the regime and be active but it is not necessar that you should invite troubles on you. Why?

I have a friend who just returned from Iran. He speaks the local language and said that he often heard talk of gay guys, he is a bit of a biggot, so I am not sure of how accurate some of his information is or if it is his homophobic reactions. However, I am sure that it means there are many gay people in Iran.

How could it be otherwise, being gay, lesbian, or bi is what people are, wherever they are. I am sure that each place has it traditions of hiding and being open depending on the prevaling culture.
