A French Revelation, or The Burning Bush

This story was a minor sensation, yet a sensation nevertheless, when it was revealed on French TV and newspapers a couple years ago. According to the article, it had no coverage at all in the US media. I doubt it was because of censorship. Can someone explain?

You wouldn't have seen this in the US press because the US press doesn't scour the other countries' publications very well.
Let's keep bringing it up now, however, and it'll get into the mainstream.

I think I just got dumber watching that.
