A basic set of eight such principles, together with brief annotations, has been suggested by Resnik:
Non-malificence: Do not harm yourself or other people.
Beneficence: Help yourself and other people.
Autonomy: Allow rational individuals to make free and informed choices.
Justice: Treat people fairly: treat equals equally, unequals unequally.
Utility: Maximize the ratio of benefits to harms for all people.
Fidelity: Keep your promises and agreements
Honesty: Do not lie, defraud, deceive or mislead.
Privacy: Respect personal privacy and confidentiality.

This sentence requires more clarity.
If I stand beside a beggar on the street or a starving child, am I to act unequal to them?
If I stand beside the queen of England or the POTUS, am I to act unequal to them?
I understand there are protocols when standing with a national leader, but I do not feel unequal to them, regardless of their position, nor do I feel unequal to a beggar or a starving child.
I looked up the link and feel even more strongly now. How do you interpret that principle?

Dog are superior to humans in their ability to smell, cat in their ability to see, mice in their ability to survive nuclear war, owls in their ability to fly through trees at high speeds, eagles in their ability to see small things from far away, salmon in their ability to find their way home, polar bears in their ability to endure cold, bats in their ability to "see" at night, wolves in their ability to survive the ravages of humans, snakes in their ability to sense heat, ... shall I continue?
