 I did not say that this school project was a scam, I simply pointed out that the format and wording of that request was very similar to a number of scams coming from Africa, specifically Nigeria., and this should be viewed with caution.
In fact, there have been so many that there is a  net phrase "Nigerian scam".
I would welcome  any type of independent  proof that this project is legitimate

Mumba from my time spent in Zambia I know where you are coming from. There's constantly a push, even in the media, supporting superstitious attitudes in general, and Christianity in particular. Yet, people like my Christian grandfather who experienced colonialism and the forcing of Judeo-Christian religion on Africans still believe. To make it even more contradictory, he often tells the story that if a lion is to see you and want to eat you, you had better not simply hold your Bible and say that god will take care of you, you had better run. I find the contrast between Africans pragmatism and superstition both interesting and painful. Like you said, we need education, and the form of IT tools would be even better. Check out my families project at our home village and see if you can do something similar to help bring this change about. http://www.bridgewater.edu/zanoba/

I'm also working on starting a project with a contact I made over the summer in Lundazi to begin a large-scale ITC education program for youths, as well as an internet cafe for the public. If anyone is interested in helping with either project, let me know and I can give details.

It's a website promoting a book called
We Are All Africans: Exposing the Negative Influence of the Judeo-Christian-Islamic Religions on Africans
I haven't read it and don't know whether its arguments, particularly the one related to the origin of Black people, lack of descendancy to Adam & Eve and their sin, therefore negating the need for a savior, are convincing.
