This probably is an out of the blue post but I have nowhere else more reliable to turn to for this info. I am moving to Jackson Mississippi this summer to the Univ. of Miss. Medical School for a research position. I would really appreciate any info and suggestions on the best places to stay in Jackson. I am single and am from India. Also the payscale for a research fellow isnt so good and so what would be the living expenses like in the place as well. Im looking for something like a safe, clean and convenient neighborhood at a walking distance from the medical school or at least within 3 - 5 mi.
