What do you consider "unfeminine"?

As freethinkers, we should be aware that just because a woman can beat you in softball, doesn't make her any less "feminine".

I came across a thread this morning on the topic, and the things the men listed irked me to no end. Examples: tattoos, cursing, smoking, being able to be her own auto mechanic, short hair, being drunk, etc etc etc. Now, I don't know about the other ladies of the A|N, but I personally love having tattos, cursing (within "reason"), and being drunk (though I rarely drink).

But what is femininity?

Men and women, I want your thoughts!

Maybe a gender suit... trying to think of that book where people had body suits... they changed from old to young. If we all would wear Toga's maybe, that would be a hoot! A social construct or destruct, of the individual's own personal creative style. TOGA...TOGA...TOGA!!!

I love the idea of TOGA's but it would make my bicycle commute in sub-zero temperatures quite challenging! and gym class could be quite a disaster!
And even with universal Togaism we would still end up with pimpin' toga's and business toga's, sleazy toga's and punk toga's ... self expression is hard to repress regardless of gendered expectations.

feminine is whatever "she" wants it to be. I'm surprised that there are still men out there who want women to not know how to fix her own car, for instance. I have extremely short hair, and am still within the feminine range. LOL for instance, I think Sinaed Oconnor with her shaven head is ultimately femme!

As for me, I don't take anyones interpretation on what feminine is, but make my own. I like tattoos on women, and would have one, if I ever got enough "spare" cash Lol
