A film that my partner Ethan and I are working on:
This film is intended to be the first in a series and is very much still a work in progress.
Please, give us some feedback! This film won't be anything without us getting as much input from the community as possible. You can find more information about the project as a whole at www.wearenotmonsters.com

To expand on your suggestions, we certainly have interviewed many more people, the FOX news clips and stuff won't actually be in the film, this was a working trailer we made several months ago. We are definitely making this film from the most objective standpoint possible.

Permalink Reply by michele ricketts on December 3, 2012 at 9:29pm Maybe its just me that doesn't like flash snippets flashed fast to impress an overall idea but perhaps a tad of a gap between them at the start of the film would give each time to sink in before going onto the next cut. Also a more obvious correlation between each theist rant in terms of atheist response. That is theirs were very specific but the longer interviews seemed more generalised. For example my mind went what? What? when that woman in red said ( sic) we need the supernatural in god to access the super powers in our potentials. I would have liked a correlation made on that one even if she taking in extremiss even for a general theist. Or acually good to take such claims on board with a riposte since a lot of theists hold hidden wild claims inside than spout them almost like a card up their sleeve
Aside from your vehmenant snippets which add colourfulness !! there should be some from people coming from more low-key in presentation but just as adamant.
Not that you could necessarily use them without permission but as a response to that black guy whose sort of famous among your snippets- there is a great affirmation by Morgan Freeman on Charlie Rose when he states sic I don't need God I am God. That is since its we who create god we are god in all our potential. Similarily Whoopee Goldberg being pressurised to come out with it she's a believer but she threw out a curve ball that her church is mother nature. Maybe it gets tricky to quote famous viz copyright but if you throw in that black guy with the moustache it should be countered by another sort of famous person since it counts to too many what celebreties think ; they shape concensus which after all a very important veihcle for belief.

There is a video of the Pope's 'exorcism' caught on film. The man isn't demon possessed, there are likely no 'real' demons. He's just delusional and doesn't want to accept personal responsiblity for his own behavior for his own dysfunctional life.

There is an ad that reads ' Do you support 'traditional' marriage? Vote Now"! .
No, I don't support 'traditional' marriage because there is no such thing. I support heterosexual and same-sex couples marry each other legally , yes. 'Traditional' marriage promoters largely do not believe that heterosexual women are co-equal to their husbands. Their only purpose in 'traditional' marriage is to sexually satisfy their husbands if they can and raise children and do all…

i've got no problem with everyone saying "merry christmas" on christmas day. however, they've turned it into an entire holiday season where it lasts a month or more. in those situations it should be perfectly acceptable to say "happy holidays" or call it a…

I posted the bulk of this on another thread, but wanted to add some context separately.
I finally confronted my faith and embraced the fact of my atheism late last August, 2012. Days after I revealed my "epiphany" to a few friends who knew me from another message board, my sister died from Lou Gehrig's Disease (which pissed her off because she hated catching a disease from someone she never f---ed).
THAT was my sister, understand? She was a beautiful, life-loving, potty-mouthed…
