That old KGB thug Vladimir Puto Putin has imprisoned a rock band for staging agit-prop inside a Russian Orthodox Church, which of course is more than a little hypocritical given that while he was murdering citizens of the USSR for his superiors he did not discriminate between clerics and common folk.  The anarchic band, Pussy Riot, knows just how closely allied are the Kremlin and the church, possibly closer than when the Romanoffs ruled. Like any self-respecting anarchist group, the Pussies know that almost all of history's totalitarian states have allied themselves with the dominant religious organization if only in an uneasy truce, Hitler being the major exception because he could mostly ignore the RCC once he had started his own religion with himself as its God.  I found a photo of a Pussy art installation I thought A|N readers would like:
