I once read a comment by someone who said, Beware any new endeavor that requires a costume.  They use all that sappy regalia to make the dumbass followers think they are special, figures of some kind of authority.  Dolan is particularly odious because he comes on in interviews, e.g. Sixty Minutes, as some kind of avuncular old guy, pleasant and witty and such, when in fact he is a hateful old shithead with evil eating him up.  If Christ represents anything at all, at least as portrayed in the Booble, it is certain that Dolan will spend eternity in hell.  Yeah, like all of you, I do not believe in that dogmatic crap. But it is pleasant to entertain belief in it just for a minute or two.  If Jebus could love a whore, he wouldn't have had any problem with homosexuals or...for that matter, anyone else.  Here is picture of Dolan in the confessional I forgot to post:

Does this mean that trust in dis-organized religion is on the rise? Sorry - smart assed comment. Seriously though, as trust in organized religion dissipates, no matter how slowly, I strongly suspect those adhering to it will become more vociferous, and even more dangerous. It's like the angry dog that is being cornered. The less options it has, the more dangerous it becomes.

I agree with you Pat!  A 'friend' and I were talking about religion and I said the 'god' of the old testament was horrible, and I quoted Dawkins.  She had a conniption-fit.  Whatever, I don't care if she never talks to me again. :)

What's funny is we play Words With Friends on Facebook, and after our 'arguement' she played the word "lord" hahahahaha.  I wished I had the letters to spell "Dumbass." ;)
