There is no possible reason for an omnipotent and omniscient god to cause our reality.

If you understand the words "omnipotent" and "omniscient," you understand why a god who would care about humans would be impossible.

For an omnipotent and omniscient being, creating us, would be no greater feat than imagining us. Certainly no more interesting. It could play out every possible scenario of our existence in its consciousness.

If we exist, it doesn't.

It is only the inability of most humans to understand those words that allows them to think there could be a god which would have even the slightest interest in anything less than the all-knowing and all-powerful.

There is nothing any of us could do, say or think, that could be of the slightest interest to a being that knows the position of the unknowable.

For those who say we have free-will...Free-will changes nothing. See above "It could play out every possible scenario of our existence in its consciousness."

If you talk to an at least semi-intelligent Apologist they'll say "No No No. God Is not All-powerful". Sure he made the universe and did all shit shit but he's not ALL POWERFUL.
A god would either be omniscient and omnipotent, or it could not be a god. To create everything, it would also need to know everything, and it would know all current and future possible outcomes of every possible scenario.

We tend to think serially, whereas a god would have all knowledge instantly, and time would be meaningless as there would be no increase in knowledge for the god with the passage of time.
could not have said that any better.

The Rednecks are coming, the Rednecks are coming

Actually, the rednecks are here and everywhere. Let me say, I'm not a big fan of these people. That's putting it mildly. Need I describe them? You know who I mean. This seems to be the time of year when they come out of the woodwork. Here in Indiana, as the weather gets nice, the motorcyclists are out in full force. I hate the noise cycles make. Then there's the Indianapolis 500 fans, the majority of which are rednecks. Interview them or a typical Pacer fan (big news as they face the Miami…See More
