The Reason Rally
FINALLY secularists are seriously working on getting visible and becoming a voice in politics during an election year. Non-theists make up between 16-20 percent of the US population, a larger minority than Blacks, Gays, Jews, Mormons, Muslims, and overwhelmingly made up of young people, yet they are virtually invisible in American politics. Polls indicate that atheists are among the most hated minorities in the US. The Reason Rally will take place in Washington, D.C. on March 24th, 2012 from 10:00AM – 4:00PM at the National Mall.

I am so excited. It looks like we are gonna be able to go. It is gonna be our first vacation since we got married. A weekend with atheist, rationalist and humanist. A chance to see Bad Religion and Greg Graffin. We are probably gonna be able to attend the Atheist Convention that night. Woo Hoo.
