Atheist Nexus

The World’s Largest Coalition of Nontheists and Nontheist Communities!

Those of you who regularly get out there and blog the message of rationalism over dogmatism might be familiar with the usernames Metacrock, Todd Pitner, Zdenny, JuanitaBerguson and Starchasr.  They front a larger group ranging from mentally unstable creationists to lovably confused evangelicals who specialise in dogging Twitter, Wordpress, Reddit, Blogger and no-doubt many other sites besides by introducing themselves as "keen to know more" and "open to new information" Christians who love "real science".  They are, in fact, organised time wasters for Jesus who are already largely familiar with the evidence which disproves their truth-claims—they're just not interested in reading or understanding any of it for themselves.

You might be interested to know I've discovered a few of the sites they hang out on, sharing 'how to argue with atheists' tips on everything from Josephus to Behe and all points in-between.

The first site is operated by Todd Pitner.  iloveatheists.com is laid out as if it is an open forum for anyone who wants to debate to sign up and answer some ostensibly well thought out questions.  In reality, once you sign up, it becomes obvious this is a heavily edited pro-AnswersInGenesis glory hole for Pitner to broadcast his hatred of logic.  Most if not all of the articles there are written by him and "corroborated" by either one of his many pseudonyms or one of his many drones.  I have personally provided Pitner with over 6 months worth of personal correspondence that answer many of his "top 10 challenges" but he has so far failed to published any of them as, quote, "atheistic propaganda".

The second is atheistwatch.blogspot.com ran by a user named Metacrock, who claims to be dyslexic as an explanation for the fact that despite having no intellectual honesty whatsoever he nevertheless has a [insert name of relevant educational qualification here—depending on the point he is trying to make].  I point you towards a moderated reply I posted to his article on the existence of Jesus and invite you to compare the version of it which he allowed to appear, next to the reply I actually wrote, reproduced fully on my own blog, howgoodisthat.wordpress.com:

Thirdly we have a ning.com site started by JuanitaBerguson, kingdominsight.  Q.  How much confirmation bias does it take to falsify a transitional fossil?  A.  Take the amount of self-congratulatory know-nothings on this website and multiply it by the amount of neutrinos in a square inch.

There is a 'science and education' section on kingdominsight that'll LITERALLY straighten your chest hair—but if you grit your teeth long enough there is some genuinely interesting insight into how the ultra religionist mind works, particularly on these two threads:

http://kingdominsight.ning.com/forum/topics/god-in-his-creation

http://kingdominsight.ning.com/forum/topics/the-doubleslit-experiment

I hope this helps solve the problem of where some of these people get their ideas, before they regurgitate them on your blog.  They mostly come out at night.  Mostly.
