secular charities (list)
Hi everybody,
What secular charities (or at least, not-pushing-religion charities) do you donate to? This time of year always gets me thinking about donating...I'll start:
Heifer International - donate livestock to people in over 50 countries
Kiva - microcredit loans to entrepreneurs in the developing world
Akshaya Patra - fund school lunches for children in India
Child's Play - buy toys and games for children's hospitals

I really believe in what Amnesty International is doing, although that's more of a political organization than a charity in some ways.
