Santorum and now Romney

These are Republicans:  Rick Santorum tells his ilk that they will never get smart people on their side.

Now Mitt Romney has come out and said the 47% of Americans think they are victims and pay no income tax and he doesn't care about them.

There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it. That that's an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what…These are people who pay no income tax.

Romney went on: "[M]y job is is not to worry about those people. I'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives."

Both of these men are held up as shining examples by the Republicans as "Real Americans".  In my humble opinion they are the worst of America.

Obama's rebuttal on Late Night with David Letterman was perfect, when he stated that one thing he had learned was that he had to be the president of ALL Americans.

I wonder if he doesn't care for the millionaires who pay no income tax or very little as he did.  (Of course, he may have paid none, too, in those returns he refuses to share.)

Does Romney not understand some people don't pay income tax because their yearly income is so low that they can't?  They are the working-poor.  Also, it doesn't mean they don't pay taxes.  They pay taxes on almost everything they buy.  If they own a home they probably pay property-tax.  Romney is a moron.  No, I didn't say mormon, I said moron. lol.  The really scary one is his Eddie Munster lookalike running-mate.

One thing I have learned about Romney is that he is NOT a vegan or vegetarian. There's way too much shoe leather in his diet to qualify.

This probably should not have shocked me as much as it did (especially since I am in Texas). I actually thought my coworkers were playing a joke on me because they know I am an atheist. Sadly, this was no joke. This actually happened.
