Just thought I let you know. I personally dislike the bloody guy.

I'm sure he will still be around though. There is always 2016. :p

Permalink Reply by Jeremy on April 10, 2012 at 9:39pm from a more machiavellian perspective, I'm not sure this is good thing. I rather enjoyed his upfront behavior exposing the evangelist church for what it really is. He caused so much division in it.
Permalink Reply by Ficking Chucken on April 11, 2012 at 2:24am This Republican campaign is an utter sham from the beginning. In a throwaway year of course they are going to trot out their naggiest nags. It is obvious that the Republicans sense that their outrageous pandering to the religious right has forced the purely fiscal conservatives a chance to wince at any mention of political affliliation with these Christian fascist nitwits. Obama has just too many perceived political successes (ie: The killing of Osama Bin Laden, the resurrection of GM.) to be merely shrugged off even when assessing his more egregious malfunctions (ie: NDAA, the entire Justice Dept. out of control, the legalizing of assassinating American citizens) Those Americans who are in the supposed middle dislike the dismantling of the Constitution yet even they are afraid of things getting worse if one of these fundamentalist Christian fascists get their hands on the beating stick. My impression of their rhetoric is that they don't like anybody! And I'm a pretty calloused political observer. Look for a complete decimation of Romney in the General election. And be especially aware of a strong Libertarian candidate to further erode Romney support. Gary Johnson is no newbie and with Americans, particularily the millenials, itching for a third party I see them gaining a tremendous amount of clout. I know, I know, most of us atheists consider themselves Progressives, but the Libertarian Party is the only one who insist on a maximum of civil and personal liberties, a voice sorely missing in much of the current dialogue.
Permalink Reply by Ficking Chucken on April 11, 2012 at 4:13pm I would argue with you about Libertarians but your opening salvo "Libertarians suck" is just too deft of an argument to contend with.
Kudos my little man, you'll soon be adolescent. We'll let you use "big boy" words very soon.
Permalink Reply by Ficking Chucken on April 12, 2012 at 2:32am Actually, I was implying that you could do better than that. I would suggest:
"Libertarians suck like a Catholic priest's favorite choir boy."
Now that's funny and appropriate for an adult atheist comment section.
