I am not a big sports fan, but one of the reasons I often get annoyed watching is the overt displays of religiosity by these ostensible 'role models' in front of the camera. Finally, someone has had the courage to speak out about this crap:

I gave this some thought, but I don't see any counter-move available to atheist athletes.
How do you proclaim publicly after a home run that you don't attribute any credit to a supernatural deity for your accomplishment? Thoughts anyone?
