Permalink Reply by Forrest Green (VorlonGuyverOss) on September 14, 2011 at 11:53pm I work with a 26 year old that did a report on the former Alaska Governor that did a high school report on her about 10 years ago. Before I read this post, he said these kinds of things were "known" when she was on the town council committee of Wasilla, Alaska.
The Tea Party will deny reality and say this attack is by "Liberal Socialist/Communists". They either can't see what is happening or unwilling to cope with reality.

Permalink Reply by Chris Wright on September 15, 2011 at 5:14am What we have to remember is that this rhetoric comes from all sides of the political spectrum. Here we have one book written by one guy (who is very well known to write inflammatory, controversial material) making allegations about events that may or may not have occurred years ago.
I am not defending Sarah Palin; rather, I am defending critical thought and free thinking. Should we really be forming an opinion based on the writings of one man? Or, should we check for other sources and corroborating witnesses? Sarah Palin has already made a run at the vice presidency. Does anyone find it odd that this 'story' is just now coming out? It seems to me that these allegations would have surfaced long ago.
There are two things that disturb me: Sarah Palin as US President is one. But rush to judgment and lack of critical thought scares me much more.
Be well-
