Keeping chat separate from general forum?
Is it possible to separate the chat section from the general forum?
Shouldn't it only come up when you've entered it?
The reason I ask is because it's considered 'streaming' and uses a lot more bytes. Shouldn't it be an option?
Please advise if there is a way to do this.

At the bottom right corner of your browser window you'll find "options" (the green dot next to the gear icon), click on "connected to chat" to disable chat, the green dot will turn red.
Done.
