Not certain if anyone here has seen the movie, but after seeing it railed about on the evening news, (by the shiftless cretin, Brian Williams), I don't know whether to laugh insanely, or ... or whatever is counter to that action.

If you haven't seen the movie, it is spectacular on a level that few ever are or can be. I won't throw in any spoilers, but it is a fantastic story, with enormous open commentary lines, and a technological marvel.

I took my youngest two and they insisted on seeing it twice, which I wasn't opposed to at all; the seemless, streaming 3D world is quite the dopamine dumper, mildly addictive at a certain level.

The strange thing, at least to me, is the overarching idiocy of critics, would-be critics, theists, atheists and how the whole mash becomes "newsworthy".

For reasons that escape my understanding, a completely fictional world generated by computers, has somehow managed to raise ire of so many over so little. It is afterall, a movie; i.e. read as "entertainment", "provisional escape from reality", "a bit of play", etc.

But ...

It has the ability to create an enormous woo worship issue ... ?

Feel free to explain it to me, really, I have no comprehension of why it is such an issue, especially in the face of the myriad lies coming from our corrupted Congress, impotent Chairman Maobama, the questionable science from the IPCC, the work at Fermilabs and CERN ...

Seriously, don't we have issues of far greater imperative to debate than the pantheistic/paganistic overtones of movie story about a non-existent/non-plausible world with a "humanoid" species?

It appears to me to be rather plain, why our country and society are epitomizing abject failure on virtually all fronts, simultaneously.
