In the past three years, Google has gone from processing 100 million searches per day to over 200 million searches per day. And get this: only one-third come from inside the U.S. The rest are in 88 other languages. ''The rate of the adoption of the Internet in all its forms is increasing, not decreasing,'' says Eric Schmidt, Google's C.E.O.

Think about it:

Google knows everything about me, what I search on the web, where I live, my habits, my mails, details, it even has a picture of mine. I know we trust Google, but history has shown us that all big companies, no matter how ethical they are cannot be relied upon and strive towards achieving monopoly over the minds and thoughts of people.

Is this any different than what religion does in using God?

Hmmm.  Uh, well.  Google actually works?
JERRY- I love your response!  SO TRUE - Google is tangible and is something that is ALL KNOWING but isn't just a belief... it acts!!  LOVE IT... unitedunderone.com
If you were just like God and you don't exist, then are we to be considered your Atheist?  To mention God, means we acknowledge His existence.  We may not believe it, but we acknowledge it.

Nice thing about Google, is that even if it strives to achieve monopoly, it does so by spreading open knowledge. (Though that is more internet than Google...).

But I'll stay with my belief that Apple will be god... controlling how you will interact with your reality...

Soon all people will have a munched apple stamped on their foreheads, and all will be good.

Google is more reliable than God...I don't have to wait to hear back from him or to try to unravel his mysteries or to find meaning out of a burning bush or out of weather conditions....I just put some words in a little box at the top of my screen and...INSTANT KNOWLEDGE.  Google is my tree of knowledge.  Well, one tree that I turn to in a forest of potential information.
But Google's rating and positioning is based on the all mighty dollar.  Has the dollar shrunk so much that its no longer the all mighty.
I can find more answers to questions about life on Google than a Christian can from consulting the Holy Spirit. That is because one is real, and the other is not.
But GW Bush was totally convinced he had a hotline to Jesus!

Good old GW probably had that 'going on' as well. ha  Kind of like this particular female GOP presidential candidate whose name I refuse to say outloud or print, "she whose name must not be spoken":

So true, HILARIOUS video.  Its like "SHE" actually talks to God and knows what God wants from us .... HILARIOUS.  These people are delusional.

If god isn't an algorithm based filter made to display pages based mainly the number links to that page, I don't know it is.

Google lists even you sinners, but to rise in it's good grace it's about time you search page optimised your soul.

It's scary how much they know about you.
