Voted too! I'm with the typo theory. Still, since the first reference to G*d on our money was so far back, people must feel that it's ok. I think I am going to point out to people from now on that it is taking the name of G*d in vain. I like substituting "over" for "under" in the pledge of allegiance too. Both good ways to get the point across.
I wonder if I could stop paying my bills with the argument that "having god on Money is against my beliefs and it is wrong to force me to use it?"
Also, if we can put god on our money, why can't we then tax churches?
