Yeah, I know booklover. Southern Illinois here. The State that adopted term limits for politicians. One term in office, and the next in federal prison. New Jersey and Louisiana should love us. We keep them off the front page.

I guess anyone can run for office and anyone can claim a party affiliation. Now if the voters elect him, that's very bad. Reminds me of when Larouchies won nominations on the Democratic ticket in Ilinois in the 80s, and Adlai Stevenson withdrew in order to disavow them. Illinois politics is always entertaining, often corrupt, but has also given the country 2 amazing presidents.
