I found this online at Rasta Livewire: Yes I realize they are a Xian based sect, so no I was not surprised. This is a good reminder that theist insanity can be deeply twined with culture - especially for people who view themselves as prophetic revloutionaries. My fav line is "No planes are flying in Babylon the great whore." Hear that Europe?

>>As if by some co-ordination of fate, a star (metorite) entered the city of Wisconsin in United States on the night of April 14 2010, almost around the same period that the volcano in Iceland began to erupt machine-killing smokes filled with sulphur and brimestone over the skies of western Europe (about April 14, 2010).

According to reports, the smoke from the volcanoe in Iceland contains certain particules which destroy the engines of planes in a matter of hours and minutes causing crashes to occur.

As a result, for the first time in history, the entire airspace of western and northern Europe is shut down. Planes cannot fly. Passengers are stranded in their millions. There is complete confusion and pertubation. Noone can say for certain when it will end.

The same night as this news was flashing through, I saw on the internet and newsreports, images of this powerful star like metorite enter Wisconsin and light up the night. Those who experienced it noted the sonic boom that came with it. Many thought “it was the end.”

What does all these lead me to? To Chapter 9 of the Book of Revelations verses 1 to 4:

“1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.

2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree;…..but only those men which have not the seal of Jah in their foreheads.

10And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.

11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon……

18 By these three were the third part of men killed, by fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone which issued out of their mouth….” See The Bible, King James Version.

Evidently, “the star that fell from heaven…” is very similar an event to the meteorite that fell onto Wisconsin, April 15th 2010. Was it an angel? Does the meteorite have the key to the bottomless pit?

The smoke from the volcano of Iceland began rising like a damnation from the bottomless pit from it cometh from the bowl of the earth. The event was again co-ordinated to time with the entry of the Wisconsin meteorite. Is there a link between the cosmical entry and the terresterial event?

No planes are flying in Babylon the great whore. For how long? A couple of days, a week, five months? Noone knows right now.

But the smoke looks like some serpentine column in the sky. An ugly sight, almost like a deformed caterpillar. It comes from fires of the bottomless pit, otherwise called volcanic eruptions; it contains brimstones, really troubling levels of brimstones that have crippled airspaces. What have these three in common, the fire, the smoke and the brimstone?

According to Revelations Chapter 9 verse 18: “By these three were the third part of men killed, by fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone which issued out …”

Let him who have ears, hear!

Pope's 'exorcism' caught on film video

Posted by Debra Stevenson on May 21, 2013 at 2:37pm 0 Comments

There is a video of the Pope's 'exorcism' caught on film.  The man isn't demon possessed, there are likely no 'real' demons.  He's just delusional and doesn't want to accept personal responsiblity for his own behavior for his own dysfunctional life.

Do you support 'traditional' marriage, vot now ad

There is an ad that reads ' Do you support 'traditional' marriage? Vote Now"!  .

No, I don't support 'traditional' marriage because there is no such thing. I support heterosexual and same-sex couples marry each other legally , yes.  'Traditional' marriage promoters largely do not believe that heterosexual women are co-equal to their husbands.  Their only purpose in 'traditional' marriage is to sexually satisfy their husbands if they can and raise children and do all…

i've got no problem with everyone saying "merry christmas" on christmas day.  however, they've turned it into an entire holiday season where it lasts a month or more.  in those situations it should be perfectly acceptable to say "happy holidays" or call it a…

My first funeral as an atheist

Posted by Two Cult Survivor on May 21, 2013 at 11:30am 0 Comments

I posted the bulk of this on another thread, but wanted to add some context separately.

I finally confronted my faith and embraced the fact of my atheism late last August, 2012. Days after I revealed my "epiphany" to a few friends who knew me from another message board, my sister died from Lou Gehrig's Disease (which pissed her off because she hated catching a disease from someone she never f---ed).

THAT was my sister, understand? She was a beautiful, life-loving, potty-mouthed…
