I need people to help counter-protest the "God Hates Fags" Lady in California!

If anyone is in the southern California area...please read:

If anyone is interested in counter-protesting the crazy "god hates fags" Baptist lady and her crazy family I will be there!

This crazy lady is protesting at my daughters school, Wilson High School, in Long Beach on Friday 02/19/10 at 2:45pm to 3:15pm then she is hatefully marching down to the Jewish center at 3801 E. Willow st. Which I would like to follow her there as well.

She is ending her hate for the day at the Long Beach Convention Center to protest Martin Lawrence.( Because he's black? I don't understand this one?)

The next day she will be in Westminster and Seal Beach.

If anyone wants to make some counter protest signs and meet down at Wilson
High School then come on down! Please! She is going to intimidate the children
(including mine! for the parents sins she says and something about Obama?) If
you would like an atheist shirt to wear that day and don't own one, I
will sale ALL my atheist tee's at half price for this event. Go to http://www.ageofatheism.com
and pick your design, size and email me, I will bring it with me the
day before the protest (bring cash, no credit cards please) We will meet at a designated spot.

I am hoping people can make it to this since Long Beach is one of the most culturally diverse cities in California. I would love a large freethinker/atheist/humanist crowd so we can show everyone that
there is a large freethinker society here and we don't approve of this
bigoted hatred in our town, and scaring our children!

Did you post this in the California group? That might also be a good place to advertise this.

If I lived nearby, I'd be out there with you, as I have never been around more than one or two other atheists at a time.

If you want "god hates fags" to show up as a tag, or "god hates fags protest", put the words in a quotation mark, and then commas in between like so "god hates fags protest", fags.com, "baptist church". Not sure if that's how you intended your tags to look.

Thanks for the suggestions. I didn't even notice the tags. I don't know why they showed up like that. I will try to correct them.

I sent the information to some family I have in Long Beach. I'd be really surprised if they showed up but I did ask them to pass along the information. Good luck against the crazy lady. Keep your cool; the family is full of lawyers not afraid to sue.

I sent a note to a friend of mine that lives near there. Can you put up fliers in much of Hollywood and the universities? Or have someone local contact the schools? I can't think of a better place to get cross publicity, especially after what this group did the Heath Ledger's family. I so wish I could be there instead of IL.
