I have returned!
I joined this site in June, but I deactivated my account after about a week because I felt I had nothing to contribute here and that I was just standing in the way for others. After about two months I've decided to return.
An introduction:
I am a 16 year old boy from Norway. I have had a secular upbringing, and I have been an atheist-leaning agnostic for as long as I can remember, a Pastafarian since 2008 and a militant atheist/skeptic since last year.
I am on my first year (out of three) of high school (general studies with specialization in music). I play the bass guitar and the piano.
My interests are science, history, psychology, reading, music (my favorites right now are XTC, Gentle Giant and Claude Debussy), acting and politics (I am a member of the Young Liberals of Norway). I am convinced that the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series by Douglas Adams are the best books ever written, and that the Answer is 42.

After high school I am considering studying
computer engineering, nanotechnology, astrophysics, psychology and a lot of other subjects. Hello fellow atheist liberal socialist northern-European. Make sure to read Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency if you haven't already.
Also maybe you should explain to me why people need to read more than one of the three books in the Hitchhikers series, aren't they all the same but in different orders?

You are lucky to live in a very secular country and have a lot to contribute to the Nexus. Tell us how little religion there is in Norway.
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series by Douglas Adams are the best books ever written! We used to talk about them all night.
