We have several publicly funded Catholic schools in my community as well. Separation of church and state? What does THAT mean?

seriously?  where do you live?

i know in my state of PA the republicans in charge are trying to move funding from public to private/religious (mainly catholic, since the archdiosese is broke from pedophilia defense) schools, but i don't think it's happened yet.

this seems quite, um, illegal, no?

I'm on the western side of Canada, in Alberta. I truly have no idea how they manage it, to be honest, particularly since the Christian school receives no such funding (where they draw the distinction, I may never know).

In response to the proposed funding changes, that DOES seem.... err... well, if not illegal, then painfully immoral.

holy crap this happens in Canada?  now where i move if theocracy takes over america???

There is no safe place, it's starting to seem...

... maybe Sweden, but I can't confirm that hahaha

how about Australia?  they have an Atheist Prime Minister.

Too many poisonous animals. :D
