Hello, all. I finally got around to joining AN so I feel it's appropriate to jump right in.

I'm Cory, a 22 year old college student living in upstate NY. I'm fairly new to the atheist scene, as I finally realized that's what I was in the last year or so. Since then, I've taken a huge interest in the topic and much of what that entails. I have my own small youtube channel where I occasionally talk about things like religion and civil rights, and just in general I'm very into the videos and the blogs, etc.

I've been sort of going through the motions with college, and I've been thinking it's time for a change - to biology. Been an interest of mine for quite some time.

I live in a largely conservative area, and grew up in a pretty nutty catholic family, but I still managed to have thoughts, so that's alright. I just don't have many like minded people to talk to around here, so i'm glad for places like this and youtube.

Anyway, that's my two cents. Glad to be here.
