Freemasons Grand Lodge of Idaho Puts Former Member and Leader of New Secular Lodge on Masonic Trial

I received an email today about a fellow Atheist Nexus member and Humanist in Idaho who is going to go on Masonic Trial on Friday. Krispen Hartung needs our support and encouragement as he stands against a religious dominated group of Idaho attorneys looking to breakup this Secular Masonic Lodge and ensure that all atheists are banned in the Idaho Freemasons. Here is the email from Krispen:

Local quasi-religious mainstream Freemasons from the Grand Lodge of Idaho put former member and leader of a new secular lodge (Praxis Lodge) on Masonic trial for "unmasonic conduct". Charges include eliminating the belief in God and the immortality of the soul as a requirement for membership (accepting atheists), not using the Bible in lodge ceremonies, and allowing discussion of religion and politics in the lodge. Praxis Lodge, which actively supports the humanist ideals and values of the age of enlightenment, science, rational thought, and secularism, is the first Modern Lodge of Freemasonry to be established in Idaho, which is in direct lineage with the Grand Orient of France and the original Grand Lodge of London in 1717.

Spread the news. The dogmaticism of maintream Freemasonry needs to be exposed as an assult to humanist and secular values.
