Simply question (I think) first, how does one change their screen name? I ask because I've noticed that many people on A/N askew anonymity and use their real name . I would like to discard the mythical “carver” and embrace reality as Jim DePaulo – I'm to fucking old to be worrying about repercussions. However, I do understand the necessity of many to remain anonymous – I just have no reason.

The next 3 questions have been, I'm sure, asked before but....

Why is the Blog section not threaded and why is it presented in reverse chronological order? Also, as there are a large number of groups as well as the forum what is the necessity for the Blog category? Finally, why doesn't the Current Activity show responses to your posts in a thread rather than simply your responses to the author of the OP, it makes following a threaded difficult?

Howdy Jim! Happy askewing!

I'd like to add a question to this thread: I originally created my profile with my real name, and now that is the URL of my page. Is there any way I can change this? I really prefer not to use my real name anywhere.

Jim,

Sorry I can't help much with the tech issues, but I am with you, mainly beeing to old to worry about what others may think.  I use my real name.
