Favorite Bible Verses to use against Xtians

I have seen a bunch of people quoting the bible to show the absurdity of the "moral teaching" that comes from it. I was looking to start a thread as a starting point.

What are your favorites?

well, that and the treatment of the unborn as property. If the woman miscarried due to abuse or whatever stress aomeone put on her by another man, that man had to pay with property of a certain value to the husband.

So, putting a price on life. The fetus was given similar status to say, a slave or a nice herd of cattle lol. So... Just so they don't get ahead of themselves. It was a code of Law, so it's in Dueteronomy, Levitucus, or Exodus likely ;)

Sorry, i heard it firsthand from a Xian, but she didn't know the exact verse either.

My all-time favorite verse from the Bible is one verse where the Bible itself admits that it was written by liars!

Matthew 5:27-31-27:Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time,Thou shall not commit adultery.
28:but I say unto you, that whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath commited adultery with her already in his heart. 29:and if the right eye offended thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. 30:and if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. 31:it hath been said, whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement: 32:but I say unto you, that whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced commiteth adultery.

So basically, if you look at a woman, you should gouge out your eye and throw it away, because you have commited adultery. And anyone that marries a woman who has been divorced is also commiting adultery.

I like the verse that tells us what the sin of Sodom really was. It has nothing to do with what Xtians consider sodomy.

Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy.

OK. I am venting. My mother died two weeks ago. She was a “god fearing christian.” Before her death she refused all medical treatment. She wanted to be left alone. This probably should not have shocked me as much as it did (especially since I am in Texas). I actually thought my coworkers were playing a joke on me because they know I am an atheist. Sadly, this was no joke. This actually happened.
