I guess i have an unpopular view on this. I think i heard the radio spot, but didn't read the article. When all else fails, i want to be able to defend myself. I just don't see a down side to that.

I have read the article. I agree with the sheriff. I don't want to wait, cross my fingers, hide, etc. I want to fight for my life and take it out of the hands of the criminal.

I agree with this. Yes, arm yourselves. America has one of the least violent cultures of the world and anyone who claims otherwise is unaware of the raw data or dishonest.
