CREATIONISIM vs EVOLUTION
i have been flummoxed recently by the assertion from a theist that " the general failure of the record to display gradual transitions from one major group to another" ...........and...... "the eye appears to have been designed; no designer of telescopes could have done better"
It's hard to believe but i hadn't come across this before, your thoughts please

same here! i use it from time to time to ridicule the anti-science crowd. they've been so busy chewing on beef jerky (which i love, incidentally) that their jaw muscles are too big to allow for proper growth of their brain.

I'd also recommend "Why Evolution is True" by Jerry Coyne, in my opinion, and no disrespect to Dawkins, but I read them both and found Coyne much easier to follow.
