I've often said George Carlin was not only one of the greatest comics we've seen, he was - without a doubt - the most brilliant social commentator of the 20th Century. He'd be having a field day with the mess politics has become today. My buddy David 2, in this week's BRUTALLY HONEST commentary, talks about Carlin - and how dumbed-down we've gotten, both humor-wise and political-wise: http://brutallyhonestcolumn.blogspot.com/2012/10/week-of-10012012.html
As always, your thoughts and opinions are welcome, either here or on David's page. Comments made here will be forwarded to David.
As always, thanks for reading, and be sure to tune in to ShockNet Radio at 8 ET/5 PT TONIGHT for BRUTALLY HONEST (the radio show). It's an hour of commentary and analysis that's SOCIAL...that's POLITICAL...that's IN YOUR FACE...and above all, is BRUTALLY HONEST!
Tune in at the ShockNet web site, http://www.shocknetradio.com or via the FREE Apple iTunes player under Radio and Classic Rock, and also join in the LIVE chat room (opens up about 30 minutes prior to air) by clicking on Chat, typing in any screen name you wish, choosing Brutally Honest from the drop-down menu and clicking on Connect to discuss the topics and issues being raised on the program.
Remember: When the Truth is Not Enough - It's Time for BRUTALLY HONEST! See you there!
