On Sunday, June 6, the man known to millions of children as Bill Nye the Science Guy, will be named the American Humanist Association's 2010 Humanist of the Year at the 69th Annual AHA Conference. Nye, who was the host of of the Emmy-award winning Disney children's science show, Bill Nye the Science Guy, from 1993 to 1998, has also written five science books for children, hosted "100 Greatest Discoveries" on the Science Channel as well as "the Eyes of the Nye" on PBS.
