WTF. What a load of...

...Our crops are faring like our moods. The potato crop is blighted, and corn and fruit fields wither. In one historic building in Augusta, rain flooded the basement, as water from another source poured down through the ceiling and extinguished a century-old chandelier. Few people would be bold enough to suggest the cause of the endless rain and gloom, that the moral climate in Maine has caused the sun to hide its face in shame.
Worse than the rain is the fact that Maine voted in homosexual “marriage.”

In May, our elected officials overturned a law of nature, and in its place paid honor to evil and unnatural practices. Our leaders allowed a cloud of error to hide the light of reason, and then the rain began. How fitting that this eclipse of human reason is mirrored by the disappearance of the sun!...

Similar bad weather on the Isle of Lewis, caused by a gay marriage.

They have gay marriage in Holland. Wait until god finds out! Those dikes better be strong!
Well, I hope that couple recognizes how powerful they really are. Single-handedly bringing down the wrath of god.
As a Kentuckian, I'm wondering what we did to cause downtown Louisville to be under 4 feet of water a couple of weeks ago. Or what we did to cause hurricane-force winds to knock out power to 90% of the Cincinnati area last September.

I'm also wondering why Santa Monica, CA had wildfires again this year after once again banning homosexual marriages, even though the fires from the year before were blamed on the homosexual marriages.

It is almost as if these are just natural weather occurrences and not the result of some supernatural deity getting angry over who some people have relationships with.
Well, California is a special case. Everyone knows that that's where all the immoral folks live, and yet they they did the right thing and kept marriage between a man and woman. God must be so confused.
Oops. I didn't mean that to sound the way it did. I originally said this:

...and yet they did the right thing (cough, cough).... But used html formatting. didn't realize my mistake until just now.
We know what you meant ;^) I as a Californian am surrounded by "do-gooders" and want to throw up on myself... Perhaps God's confusion is what created the misplaced wrath?
God needs to get over here now! Theres gay people everywhere and it's been beautiful out.
I had to peek at your profile to see were 'here' is. We're practically neighbors. It's been beautiful here too FINALLY! Although frankly it's just a wee bit hot for me.

Apparently god is asleep or taking a break from all the bad weather he's had to dole out this summer.
Wow, it's a good thing these people aren't conducting any REAL studies... we'd be reading about how the lottery is won depending on who prays the most... everyone would be gambling and taking the week off work to pray.
Hahahaha! S/he definitely needs to take a chill pill.
That settles it then!
We've had a terrible Summer so far this year, and I thought it was my fault for buying a motorcycle.
However, given that I can see Maine from my bedroom window (in a very literal, non-Palin sense) it must be gods wrath spilling into New Hampshire. You'd think the "almighty" would have better aim.
God hates motorcycles.

Death of a family member

Posted by Larry Taylor on May 20, 2013 at 8:15pm 5 Comments

OK. I am venting. My mother died two weeks ago. She was a “god fearing christian.” Before her death she refused all medical treatment. She wanted to be left alone. She even refused to speak with my brother who is a methodist minister. He is a pip, let me tell you! I suspect she did not believe, but a woman born in her time could not and did not state her actual beliefs. This is the opening salvo to all christians; FUCK YOU! I had so many people come and tell…

Unbelievable!!!!!!!!

Posted by Christy Stewart on May 20, 2013 at 2:17pm 6 Comments

This probably should not have shocked me as much as it did (especially since I am in Texas). I actually thought my coworkers were playing a joke on me because they know I am an atheist. Sadly, this was no joke. This actually happened.

I work in a psychiatric hospital. The doctors who admit patients are general MDs. (Psychiatrists see patients after admission) Yesterday evening we received several calls from irate parents. A new doctor who was doing admissions yesterday actually…

anti-atheist rant from an Orthodox Mormon part 2

What do you think of this,

Nathan Young,

No Jason Torpy it is you that should be banned for promoting atheism, a belief that has no foundation in reality and zero proof behind it.  The letter was a mockery of your atheist beliefs.  I request to the board here that they remove Jason for his unverifiable beliefs in atheism for which he has no proof other than his arrogance.  The letter was a mockery of atheism.  Atheism is stupid and it should be mocked and it…

Anti-atheist post from an Orthdox Mormon

What do you think of this Facebook comment?

Nathan Young to Jason Torpy,

for once you and I can agree on something.  We should disrespect beliefs that are untenable such as the belief that there is no God.  Indeed for me to respect you Jason, I cannot respect your belief in non-belief in atheism.  Your atheism comes across as arrogrance, smugness, and self righteous.  Indeed after reading "An Open Letter to My Religious Friends" I penned one…
