Yay - one more for Eschaton2012! That's where all the cool kids will be Nov 30-Dec 2 (eschaton2012.ca)

Is anyone planning on attending the atheist convention in March in Austin, Texas ? I have a room booked and would not be adverse to splitting the cost of the room. I don't expect women to reply so men only please. Send me an email at lynchj678@gmail.com if you are interested. I would have to know somewhat in advance to have another bed assigned to the room.

Dee-troit Michigan, USA!

I live in front of mighty Himalaya, the naked peaks made me naked in faith, spirituality.  Belonging to a conservative orthodox Hindu family.  Exposing the myth of India being home to spirituality, but a home to the largest literature treasure trove of Atheistic thoughts and literature. Texan now living in Vancouver, Canada!

...representing Austria here
well, yeah, not Australia, AUSTRIA as in Ahrnie, Apfelstrudel or NO KANGAROOS HERE !
And no one over here gives a damn if you´re an Atheist or religious (except the churches, of course), as long as you can pronounce "Oachkatzlschwoaf" correctly...;-)

Willkommen, Klaus.

A great grandmother and her brother, Sophie and Jacob Guth, came to the USofA from Austria and Jacob fought for the Union in our Civil War. My mother spoke German but didn't pass it along to her kids. When our President Reagan invited Xians into the Republican Party I swore I would not vote Repub again, so after I moved to California I did not vote for Arnie.

Sorry, it's not that bad, but I get a little frustrated when my vote doesn't count in one of the reddest states in the nation. My distant ancestors, H. habilis, apparently were neither right nor left just middle of the road, (which wasn't paved at that time).

Hello fellow atheists!  I have joined this site in an attempt to find other rational individuals, such as myself, and to promote a current charity drive that I am trying to get going for the Oklahoma tornado victims.  I have managed to get many groups from around my area, including the Beyond Belief Foundation to back me on this endeavor.

I am located in Newnan, Ga and have my own atheist group entitled "Coweta County Atheists".  I am currently being backed by Spaulding Co.…

Pope's 'exorcism' caught on film video

Posted by Debra Stevenson on May 21, 2013 at 2:37pm 0 Comments

There is a video of the Pope's 'exorcism' caught on film.  The man isn't demon possessed, there are likely no 'real' demons.  He's just delusional and doesn't want to accept personal responsiblity for his own behavior for his own dysfunctional life.

Do you support 'traditional' marriage, vot now ad

Posted by Debra Stevenson on May 21, 2013 at 2:28pm 2 Comments

There is an ad that reads ' Do you support 'traditional' marriage? Vote Now"!  .

No, I don't support 'traditional' marriage because there is no such thing. I support heterosexual and same-sex couples marry each other legally , yes.  'Traditional' marriage promoters largely do not believe that heterosexual women are co-equal to their husbands.  Their only purpose in 'traditional' marriage is to sexually satisfy their husbands if they can and raise children and do all…

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/05/21/texas-merry-christmas-bill_n_3312786.html?utm_hp_ref=politics

i've got no problem with everyone saying "merry christmas" on christmas day.  however, they've turned it into an entire holiday season where it lasts a month or more.  in those situations it should be perfectly acceptable to say "happy holidays" or call it a…
