I'll make this short, are there any atheist in Alabama? I live in Troy Al and am trying to reach out and find some but I am surrounded by fundamentalist Christians who refuse to budge on there beliefs and view me as an evil messiah of the devil. I just want to meet some people who I can actually relate to and have an intelligent conversation with. It's so frustrating living here I feel like an outcast. Anyway I was just wondering.

I know the feeling. Mobile here!

Sorry you have to live that way John.  Come here often to vent!~ Melinda

ouch, any chance you can move?

seriously though, look for local Atheist Meetups or Humanist groups.  google is your friend.  you may feel alone but you likely are not.

And if there isn't a local group, you could always start one.
