Neither of those observations, nor any other observation prove or disprove that a god or gods exist. Rather what TYPE of god or gods exist. Like Epicurus suggests, The question is not existence, but worthiness of devotion.

To simplify the whole thing, these godly folk need to see that their god does not interact with man-kind, otherwise evil could not take place.
