Almost all kinds of cults in the world exaggerates social problems to deny the real world (such as the population problem, the problem of unemployment, environmental issues, corruption issues, energy problems, etc.). Spread apocalyptic destruction that the end of the world will soon come, the world will be destroyed in the "final war" , such as Japan's Aum Shinrikyo doctrine of promoting the heresy of "doomsday" and "final war".

U.S. "Branch Davidian" publicity end of the world is coming, the world will all involve in jihad in Jerusalem. They reserve a lot of food and weapons to deal with the end of the world to the temporary "Antichrist" on their offense.

"Falun Gong" cult claimed that human civilization has experienced at least 81 "cyclical changes" and "opinions on people and then slide down facing destruction, absolute destruction" To stop sliding down, we must escape from the human world, to arrive at a "higher levels" to "perfection". "This way, you can avoid the suffering of the human being , to reach the World of  Pure Land"

Exaggerated social problems and negative social reality, and distribute the the destruction of Earth, the believers in an extreme fear and eager to seek to rely on sustenance of mental state which is one way of the cult control disciples.
