Almost a couple of years after we learned that Anne Rice left Christianity, here are a couple of update interviews where she talks about how she feels about organized religion and her reasons for leaving Christianity.

In her original coming out statement, she declared:
Today I quit being a Christian. I'm out ... in the name of Christ, I refuse to be anti-gay. I refuse to be anti-feminist. I refuse to be anti-artificial birth control. I refuse to be anti-democrat. I refuse to be anti-secular humanism. I refuse to be anti-science. I refuse to be anti-life. In the name of Christ, I quit Christianity and being a Christian, Amen.

Permalink Reply by Mark Schwab on March 16, 2012 at 10:12am Hey, maybe someone should start a thread on religious vs atheist bumper stickers- I like "Jesus is coming-look busy" I also like the attempts at one-upsmanship regarding the Christian fish symbol, where first you have the Christian fish on a sticker, then some atheist came up with the fish growing legs with "Darwin" printed across the fish body, then the Christians responded with the giant Jesus fish eating the Darwin fish with the words "Truth" printed across it's body, then-no response yet, as far as I can tell from the atheists-come on folks, you can't let them get the last word in-you look like quitters. Sorry, didn't mean to hijack this thread, but the comment just got me going.
best part is there is only one company making all the stickers and making all the moneys.
