"Andrew is with Jesus in heaven where there is no suffering or pain. So my prayers are for his mother to be set free from this injustice. Hannah [Overton, convicted of murdering the boy by poisoning him with Cajun seasoning salt] did not murder the son whom she loved. And I hope and pray that the judge will see this more clearly today."
Can you believe the fallacies in such "thinking"?

Whoever stated that is obviously deluded and is probably going to copy the act. This is why religious fundamentalists disgust me for the most part. It does have a very valid point that has been asked before. Bill Maher asked a person on his documentary "Religulous" why he did not kill himself to be in a better place. Although I consider Maher to be a bit of a cockroach on some issues, he had a valid question. Although suicide is forbidden for the most part in Christian texts, some may consider this reasonable and a valid reasoning for murder or taking one's life. This is why religion is so dangerous.
