now thats awsome
Just goes to show what a cock-up creationism is...

(somebody had to say it...)
It's either that or on the second day God created a phallus and got distracted... haha
That's great.

The NCW museum around where I live has several dildos on display, with no acknowledgment of that fact. But a dick's a dick; can't get around that. They're displayed as mortar and pestles. Grinding tools. Ironic, eh?
i cant even fathom primitive technology on a dildo. Hurts thinking about it!
Not strictly true.. have just been reading about them

Somebody call Wilma and Betty tell them we found it!
u r luckey to find such an antique. If ur hypothsis about it being older than creation is right then it must have remained in the use of "the creator". Such a priceless piece should be declared property of whole mankind.
In my parts of world Didlos are worshiped practically. In India there is a large hindu sect which does "Shive Ling Poja" meaning worship of Shive's reproductive organ. Not far from my place there is shrine of Iben Shah where sacred wood didlos are hanging on trees for childless women to make them pragnent.
Oh yes and ancient Egypt was full of statues are carvings of Ra with an eret penis, a lot of it was hidden and covered up in the past by prudish Victorians etc, but if you look around Luxor and Karnak temples you can find them, the regular tour guides don't necessarily point them out:

lol I don't think most Hindus think of the penis when they perform this ritual. Lingam also means sign. So Shiva Lingum is just the representation of Shiva.

The phallic interpretation is probably not even the original one. It seem like it might be one that arose later from some obscure verbal tradition written down a thousand years after the original practice began, by one of the thousands of disparate schools of thought.
When you wrote a dildo older than creation, I thought you were talking about George Bush.
I know its not related to atheism but this made me
laugh.
