I know I'm a bit late, but I figure I'll add in my $.02.
I really hope this man doesn't develop cancer in any way. I see him having it later in life as a way for him to claim that the "Lord allowed him" to see into his own future.
In fact, I hope he lives a long life, in full awareness of the pain and suffering he put his family though, as well as the embarrassment that they will be dealing with for many years.
