13 year old son wants to read an Atheist book

my 13 year old Son has said he wants to read an Atheist book.  his mother is religious, and take him to church but is full of doubt and enjoys hearing the atheist view points and want to hear more.

he is a big reader and goes through a book a week if not faster. so if anyone has any 13 year old appropriate books that would be great.

I enjoyed these series very much, even if 13 is a long time ago

The Magic of Reality: How We Know What's Really True

Written for kids probably suited to his age group.

@Chris, you'll get a chuckle out of this review:

“Exhilarating. The clearest and most beautifully written introduction to science I've ever read. Again and again I found myself saying "Oh! So that's how genes work!" (or stars, or tectonic plates, or all the other things he explains). Explanations I thought I knew were clarified; things I never understood were made clear for the first time. My favourite adjective of praise has always been "clear", and this book has clarity all the way through.” —Philip Pullman, author of The Good Man Jesus and the Scoundrel Christ and the His Dark Materials trilogy

Signing Atheists

I was going to set up a group for Deaf Atheists, but figured I'd probably be alone in here if I did that so I figured I'd open it to anyone who knows sign language or even interested in learning it.
